Each year, the Fort Worth Geological Society awards scholarships to support geoscience students at DFW-area universities. These awards recognize strong academic performance while helping offset the cost of research and education for students with demonstrated financial need.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be currently enrolled as geoscience students.
Enrollment at a university or college located within the boundaries of the Southwest Section of AAPG is required.
Awards are granted based on academic performance and financial need.
Open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
Applications from community college students are also welcome if there is a geoscience focus.
